These Celebrities Aren’t Afraid to Talk About Their Sex Lives

It should come as no surprise that the creator of the infamous “This Smells Like My Vagina Candle” isn’t shy when it comes to talking about her sex life.

Gwyneth Paltrow has made many candid admissions about sex over the years, including once comparing Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck’s sexual prowess!

But our favorite has to be her quotes in a 2016 interview with Self in which she emphasized the importance of women owning their sexuality at any stage in life.

“We have this idea that you can’t be a mother and a businesswoman and like to have sex!” she told the outlet. “I think it’s important, as mothers and as women contributing to society in whatever way we each are, that our true sexuality doesn’t get lost or put aside.”

Hailey Bieber

Hailey Bieber was uncharacteristically candid in a 2022 interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast and we’re loving her new sex-positive era!

She discussed her and husband Justin Bieber’s turn-ons and their favorite sex positions, saying: “For me, kissing is a big deal, like that’s a big thing for me, it always has been, just like in my life before I was married. So, I would say that is probably the most.”

For Justin, the model noted that “connection is very important to him.” She explained, “Like, we could literally just be laying down talking before and just like having a really fun conversation and that is really important for him.”

As for sex positions, she said: “It’s not like I’m like ‘I strictly like this one thing’ and he strictly likes another thing,” before revealing, “I really like doggy-style.”

Jenny Mollen

Jenny Mollen told Us Weekly in 2020 that quarantining with husband Jason Biggs only made their sex life steamier!

“I guess we’ve been having more sex,” the Crash actress revealed. “Because of nothing else, we’ve been married so many years — we’ve been married 13 years — but I do feel like there’s just more, we’re seeing each other a lot more, we’re around each other so much that I guess it could go one of two ways. Early in her relationship with now-ex Jason Sudeikis, Olivia Wilde didn’t hold back when talking about their sex life and how it differed to her recently-ended marriage — during which she said she felt like her “vagina died.”

The actress said that she and Sudeikis “have sex like Kenyan marathon runners” and were “blissfully in love.

“Sometimes your vagina dies,” she explained, according to the Daily Mail. “Then you know it’s time to go. There’s no reason to sacrifice your womanhood and femininity for some sort of weird feeling of responsibility to something that may not be right. I feel like far too many women do that.”

Lionel Richie

Lionel Richie wasn’t afraid to share some steamy details in a 2023 appearance on The View. “When I wrote ‘All Night Long,’ it was truly all night long,” Richie said referencing his classic song. “Now my ‘all night long’ is down to a fierce 15 minutes.” Next to him was fellow American Idol judge Katy Perry, who seemed quite impressed. “Fifteen minutes? That’s long, bud,” she replied, to which Richie quipped, “And don’t you forget that, alright?”

Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos

Though they’ve never been shy about their relationship, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos took the extra step and dished some TMI details on their sex life during the 2023 debut of Ripa’s podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera. At one point, the two remembered when Consuelos was under strict COVID protocols in Canada filming Riverdale and they would see each other only a couple of times during 10 months. 

“We had sexual rituals,” she recalled. “They were so ludicrous over FaceTime. I became so alarmed at my appearance over FaceTime that I started rigging the computer to hang from a ladder. I hung the computer over a ladder so that I could look up to Mark and he did not have to see what gravity was actually doing. You get really close to yourself in situations when you’re separated from your husband for long periods of time.”

Rachel Bilson

In a March 2023 episode of her podcast Broad Ideas, Rachel Bilson opened up about having her first orgasm from sex at age 38, per Us Weekly. “Isn’t that crazy?” Bilson told her guest Whitney Cummings. They then clarified that they could do it “with their hands,” but no from actual penetration.

With the arrival of his 2021 self-titled memoir, Will Smith really opened up about his sex life — specifically the beginning of his romance with wife Jada Pinkett Smith. At the start of their romance, Smith and his then-girlfriend would often sneak around and spend time together alone, so their romance wouldn’t be exploited by paparazzi.
