Many have wondered what’s been happening behind closed doors with the British royal family. While many royal fans have been hoping for good news coming from either Kate Middleton or King Charles III amid their recoveries, they’ve also wondered how Prince William is handling being the main person to help around with his ailing family members. But an insider just spilled the beans to Closer Weekly, saying that William isn’t the only one taking care of Charles. In fact, the insider claimed Kate has been helping out with Charles’ recovery, even amid her own.

“She treats him like a father, not a king, which he appreciates. She calls him often,” the insider said, adding that she’s been helping with his recovery in any way she can. “They’ve forged a special bond. Kate is definitely the daughter he never had.”
They added, “Charles may seem stuffy, but he has a good sense of humor, and Kate is great at making him laugh. She’s healing quickly and slowly getting back to her day-to-day activities.”
So it seems that while Kate will probably not make any public appearance until around Easter, she’s slowly but surely recovering. And taking care of someone else while you’re recovering just shows Kate’s alleged caring nature towards her family.
For those who don’t know, Kate is currently recovering from an unknown abdominal surgery. (They haven’t divulged what the surgery was for, but we do know it wasn’t cancer or eating disorder-related.) Along with Kate, Charles has been recovering from his cancer diagnosis. We’re hoping for a speedy recovery for both!
