Last year, we saw some epic pregnancy announcements. Of course, Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime show announcement was amazing. Kourtney Kardashian recreating the “All The Small Things” music video at a Blink-182 concert to announce that she was expecting a baby with husband Travis Barker was iconic. And Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson announced that she was expecting Baby No. 3 with husband Andrew East in the most perfect location: At the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens in front of the Olympic rings.

All that said, we do love a good surprise too! We were floored in 2023 when celebrities like Paris Hilton, Ashley Olsen, and Chrissy Teigen shocked the world with unexpected birth announcements, having given no signal that a baby was on the way. And yes, Hilton and Teigen both did it twice in one year.

Just a few days into 2024, we’ve already seen some super sweet pregnancy announcements from the likes of actress Rose McGiver (at the Golden Globes), country music singer Jon Pardi, and HGTV star Drew Scott. And now we can’t wait for all the announcements to come! Below, we’ve listed every famous figure who announced in 2024 that they’re expecting a new addition to their family. Congratulations!

Drew Scott highlighted this toddler struggle perfectly in his latest photo with 22-month-old son Parker, who he shares with his pregnant wife Linda Phan. The toddler was apparently feeling super indecisive about what toy car he wanted to ride in, so he decided he wanted both!

Eight-Wheelin?

“Look out Van Damme, you’ve got competition,” the Property Brothers host captioned the adorable photo. His little daredevil is sitting in the middle of two toy cars, with one leg in each car. Parker has one hand on each steering wheel and is perfectly balanced as he looks straight ahead and waits for someone to push him. He’s eight-wheelin, and he looks totally confident doing it!

Parker looks just like Van Damme in that famous 2013 Volvo commercial, where he does the splits on two moving trucks, and it’s adorable.

If only all our decisions could be answered with simply choosing both!

Screen Time

Last week, the Celebrity IOU star shared a video that sparked major backlash about his parenting style. “iPad addiction … it’s a real thing 😩,” he captioned a video where he recreated a scene between him and Parker. In it, Scott-as-Parker laughs at something on a phone, then Scott-as-Scott takes it away, leading to crocodile tears from “Parker.” He hands it back and the crying immediately stops. Relatable, right? I know this exact situation happens with me and my boys all the time!

Yet, many people decided to judge him for letting his son have screen time. “Your kid has no business being on an iPad at his age,” one person said. Another wrote, “Yep, I’d say the addiction is more of parents taking the easy, lazy way out of parenting by giving kids technology that babysits kids.” Geez! Let parents live, OK?

And anyway, Parker is clearly watching some high-quality screen time if he is copying Van Damme during his playtime!

The middle schooler attended her mom’s show with her dad, two of her older brothers — Brooklyn and Cruz — and her sister-in-law Nicola Peltz. And not only did she look so grown up, but she also looked so confident in her own skin.

Halfway There

Harper might not be on the runway (just yet?!), but she’s already modeling her mom’s creations. And yes, we’re totally jealous!

“I designed this exclusive Midi Cami Dress with #HarperSeven to wear at my #VBSS24 runway show in Paris!! I love the colour and how simple, yet elegant the silhouette is, paired with my Mini #VBChain. Kisses xx,” wrote on an Instagram post that took our breath away.

Harper is standing on a staircase at what must be golden hour. Her hair is pulled back in a ponytail, her eyes are closed, and her head is tilted. The sun kisses one of her cheeks while casting shadows of the intricate staircase railing against her ivory dress.

Along with the necklace Victoria mentioned, Harper paired the dress with chunky heels and a matching clutch.

“She’s such a pretty girl, a lovely young lady x,” one follower said.

Still A Tween

Harper still has some major tween moments. (As she should!) Last month, she had no time for her dad’s shenanigans. He (adorably) tried to bring her pancakes in bed and she was not having it, rolling over and burying her face in her pillow. Because no matter what time it was, it was too early for a tween! Not even hand delivered pancakes are an effective alarm.

“Love ya!” the soccer legend enthusiastically said to his little girl. “Love you,” she mumbled.

OK, so maybe there won’t be any morning fashion shows in Harper’s future. (And we don’t blame her.)

Little Drummer Boy

“Tour was over, we’d survived,” the Blink-182 drummer captioned a post on Instagram over the weekend. He shared a photo of his drumsticks resting on the drum, with baby Rocky’s tiny toes reaching out to rest on the drum in front of him. The baby is wearing olive green pants but is otherwise totally hidden. He is already the cutest little drummer boy!

Atiana de la Hoya, who Barker shares with ex Shanna Moakler, commented, “Rocky 😭🤍.”

“His little foot 😍” another person wrote. “Omg the little foot the best couple in the world created 😭🥹😇,” someone else commented.

Music Lover

Barker has been introducing his baby boy to the drums since he was first born. He shared a video to TikTok in November, where he was drumming in a medical office while looking at a monitor. “Practicing to my babies heartbeat 🥁,” he captioned the cute clip.

In addition to Rocky and Atiana, Barker is also dad to Alabama, 18, and Landon, 20. Kardashian is also mom to Mason, 14, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 9, with ex Scott Disick. She is currently on tour with Barker, and at least Penelope, Reign, and Rocky are with her.

Cutest Groupies

The Lemme founder posted a photo dump of her time in Australia with the kids. “Thank you @airbnb for such a beautiful home to create memories that I will always remember and cherish,” she wrote. “Mornings making banana pancakes and nights playing uno forever and ever!!” Kardashian also posted cute pictures of her holding Reign’s hand as they walked side-by-side, Reign and Penelope standing on a set of stairs toward the ocean, and a selfie of Kardashian in the mirror with Penelope smiling in the background.

Music is already such a big part of Rocky’s life, and we love that some of his older siblings get to enjoy the rockstar experience, too.

Disneyland

The 13 Going on 30 star and Argo star were photographed hanging out together this weekend in photos obtained by Page Six. Garner wore a blue sweater, jeans, and sneakers for the outing, with her long brown hair covered by a light blue cap. Affleck had on a white t-shirt, a cardigan, and a black jacket over jeans and sneakers. According to the outlet, Garner and Affleck spent some time chatting on several different occasions while Samuel rode some rides. (Why they wouldn’t also go on the ride is a mystery!)

Another woman, presumably a nanny, stood in line with them and Disney staff members also accompanied them on the park outing. Samuel and Garner reportedly held hands during their day at Disney, with Samuel dressed in a gray t-shirt, blue pants, and black sneakers. See the photos HERE.

Birthday Boy

The exes share Samuel and daughters Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15. Last week, they were photographed outside of Samuel’s school on his birthday. Affleck’s wife Jennifer Lopez, who he married in 2022, was not pictured, which shows how confident she is in her relationship and Affleck’s relationship with his ex-wife. She clearly has no qualms about them hanging out together for the kids, which is seriously queen behavior!  

Kim and Kanye Should Take Notes

Affleck and Garner’s trip to Disneyland reminds us of something Kim Kardashian and ex Kanye West recently did. These two share kids North, 10, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 4. In December, West took North to Disneyland with his wife Bianca Censori. A few weeks later, Kardashian took Saint to Disneyland, presumably because he felt left out after not being invited to go with his dad and older sister.

This is just one example (out of many!) that shows how strained West and Kardashian’s co-parenting relationship is — and how healthy Affleck and Garner’s is by comparison. Not that it’s a competition, but when kids are involved, it’s always best to put your differences aside and make your kids your priority.

“I feel like I JUST said happy Sunday and it’s effing Sunday again !!!” the Chrissy & Dave Dine Out star wrote on Instagram yesterday, along with a photo dump of life lately with her four kids: Luna, Miles, 5, Esti, 1, and Wren, 8 months. But fans were focused on Luna’s creation. Go to slide 6 to see the amazing dollhouse Luna designed and built!

In the video, Teigen reveals that Luna started this dollhouse “just this morning.” Then Luna hops on to explain what she made. “These — this and this — are tables,” she starts, pointing to two popsicle stick tables on the bottom floor. The dollhouse has several stories, beds with pink wrapping paper blankets, balcony overhangs, a carport, and so much more. It’s the perfect DIY Barbie Dreamhouse!

Sweet Comments

Jump Scares

Not only is Luna creative, but she also loves being scared. Last week, The Cravings author told fans, “Luna has fallen in love with jump scares and if she does a good job on dinner she gets to watch one 😂.” She also shared a video of Luna watching a video that ended with Luna screaming and throwing her ice cream everywhere.

Family Fun

In her carousel yesterday, Teigen also shared adorable photos of Esti and Wren, and a video of Miles playing basketball. “and yes he absolutely traveled but they get away with it in kindergarten!!” Teigen explained in her caption.

This family is so much fun, and we love how normal their life looks. Now we are just patiently waiting for Luna to start selling her art dollhouses online … or maybe a tutorial so our kids can build one, too!

Now, before we get any further, let’s take a quick detour to the TSA’s website and their official policy on traveling with breast milk.

The government agency says that formula, breast milk, toddler drinks, and other baby or toddler food (such as puree pouches) are allowed in carry-on baggage. And you can travel with more than the allotted 3.4 ounces which is standard for other liquids. Why is that?

“[They] are considered medically necessary liquids,” the TSA site says.

Medically. Necessary.

The same goes for any cooling accessories (ice packs, freezer packs, and gel packs) regardless of the presence of breast milk. The child also does not need to be present for these things to be allowed. Why? Because moms need to have food available for their child(ren) when they land, and they can’t just stop pumping for the sake of the TSA.

Marlow is a proud mom to 5-month-old son Forrest Henry Font — whom she shares with husband Jonah Font — and was going through airport security with bags of breast milk. She posted a photo on her Instagram Story of said bags in the hands of a TSA agent and wrote, “TSA treats nursing moms like criminals haha” over it. It’s one of those “funny not funny” situations.

“I’m so saddened by TSA and their lack of protocol for a mom traveling with her breastmilk,” Marlow said. “I had to stand here for 20 minutes while he ‘inspected’ my food for my baby and the man was about to open one of my bags to test it until I demanded he not contaminate the milk for my baby.”

Granted! The site does say officers “may need to test the liquids for explosives or concealed prohibited items,” but the thought of opening the bags? EW! Marlow understandably refused — “Because airports are disgusting” — so they searched all her belongings.

“TSA please do better for moms just trying to feed their babies,” she concluded.

Because seriously, can’t there be a better way? We’ve seen this happen time and again where parents are stalled and interrogated for traveling with breast milk. And it always seems like there hasn’t been enough training about proper protocols. There’s a disconnect between the site and what’s happening at airports, and it’s entirely disconcerting.

Who Else Has This Happened To?

Keke Palmer

Last year, actress Keke Palmer took to Instagram to say she experienced “breast milk discrimination” at the airport. And this wasn’t just a matter of agents opening bags. They were threatening to chuck it.

“I should’ve popped my tit out right then because the discretion and comfort of pumping is thwarted with threats to throw out over 16oz my [baby Leo’s] food?!?!!!” Palmer said. “Why is that not a crime?? I’M A MOTHER for crying out loud 😩😢”

Shawn Johnson

In 2021, Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson alleged that she had “one of the worst experiences” when she tried to travel with breast milk.

“We as mamas have a duty to our babies and a right in this world to carry breast milk through security,” she said at the time. “Having [a TSA agent] public[ly] humiliate me in proving to you it was actually breast milk was against my rights. To then be groped and yelled at in public was excessive.”

“I know you were doing your job … but so was I,” she added.

Emily Calandrelli

Emily Calandrelli — host of Emily’s Wonder Lab — had a distressing experience of her own. In 2022, she wasn’t allowed to bring her ice packs through security because they weren’t fully frozen (Psst! That’s not a requirement per the TSA website.) and because her son wasn’t with her (Psst! Also not a requirement.).

“They escorted me out of line and forced me to check my cold packs, meaning I couldn’t pump before my flight for fear it would spoil,” she said. “I cried at the airport. I was embarrassed about having to explain breastfeeding to 3 grown men. I felt humiliated and emotional.”

“Emptying my breasts on a regular schedule and providing food for my child IS medically necessary (and especially impt with the current formula shortage!),” she continued. “…It is infuriatingly common to encounter TSA agents who don’t know the proper protocol around pumping and feeding babies – and it shouldn’t be this way … I’m furious and I won’t let them make me feel embarrassed for their lack of understanding and training and neither should you.”

Calandrelli turned this awful encounter into action and has been working with Congress to update the 2016 Bottles and Breastfeeding Equipment Screening (BABES) Act to address the issue and require more training for TSA agents about how to interact with parents traveling with breast milk.

Feeding little ones isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey, and these celebrity moms are advocating for extended breastfeeding.

The man who originally posted (the “OP” in Reddit lingo) explained that he and his wife have two sons — ages 3 and 5. Two years ago, his wife told him she wanted to make money off Instagram. At the time, she was at home during the day with their then-1-year-old son.

“We’re fortunate that I make enough money to support our lifestyle comfortably, and I encouraged her to go for it,” he said.

How It’s Going

Things aren’t going quite how OP’s wife would have liked.

“Unfortunately in the past two years as a hopeful Instagram influencer, she has not made a single cent,” he said.

At first, she tried to gain followers by doing postpartum workouts with “bizarre mobility movements” despite knowing “nothing” about fitness. “That went nowhere,” OP reported. Then she moved on to makeup tutorials, but that also “fell flat,” probably since there’s so much competition in that space.

“Then she jumped onto this slice-of-life train, where she would make videos talking about her day, but to be frank they all were pretty boring, and she failed to attract any attention,” he said.

“The issue isn’t that she’s trying,” OP continued. “The issue is that she spends the overwhelming majority of her waking hours on Instagram and skirts her household responsibilities.”

What Does OP Do?

Meanwhile, OP wakes up at 5 a.m. to go for a run, makes breakfast for everyone, lunch for himself and his kindergartener, and then drops the little guy off at school.

His wife wakes up around 7:45 a.m. after being up late on Instagram and heads to the couch to continue scrolling and posting.

“Any attempt to get [my wife] to do something is met with complaining,” OP said.

OP then gets home from work around 5:30 p.m. and reportedly makes dinner for everyone, washes lots of the dishes, tidies up, bathes his sons, and plays with them.

Recently, OP got “fed up” with his wife because the house was a “complete disaster zone” — dirty laundry, dirty dishes, etc. — when he got home from work. When his wife said she was too “busy” to handle any of that, he “snapped.”

“I told her that her Instagram is going nowhere and that I’ve put up with it for two years longer than I should have, and that she would be infinitely more useful cooking and cleaning,” OP said. “She got this horrified look on her face and walked away. She went into the bedroom (naturally looking at her phone) and left me to deal with everything that night.”

So, dear readers, is he the a—hole?

The internet was stunned by this one. Because you better believe they came in guns a-blazing! And then … welp … OP might actually have a point.

“I was soooo ready to rip this man a new one,” one person said. “Salivating at the f*cking MOUTH. 🥸 … I’m quite parched all of a sudden … NTA … but if a b💀tch don’t hang that hat tf UP & go to work??? Like come on now. At this point you might as well be single.”

As one Redditor said, OP could have chosen his words more carefully, but his expectations aren’t unreasonable.

“There’s a reason that these things are usually side hustles until they go big,” said the top comment with 13.6 thousand upvotes. “It’s hard to make it. Having no job, bringing in no income, and contributing nothing to the household is not a realistic way to be a good partner. Could you have worded it better or been more tactful? Sure, but I get how you would just kind of snap in the moment.”

“I’m amazed OP put up with it this long,” one person said, and many agreed, wondering if it’s time to think about divorce. But we have to wonder what that would actually do at this point. Then he is once again left as the sole caretaker … but without the woman he still seemingly loves by his side.

It seems to us like it’s not time to pick up divorce papers. It’s just (finally!) time to put down the phone. Her family needs her. Not as a personal chef or cleaning lady. But as a present wife and mom.

Rockin’ Jacket

The Watch What Happens Live! host shared two pictures on Instagram with his daughter, who turns 2 next month. He’s sitting on a bench smiling at his baby girl, and she’s turned toward her dad to show off her amazing new jacket. She’s wearing a denim jacket (over jeans!) with a pink “LUCY” embroidered on the back over a picture of Snoopy wearing heart-shaped sunglasses. Rock ‘n Roll Daughter

In January, Cohen shared a video of Lucy’s full rockstar transformation on his Instagram story. “My rock ‘n roll daughter has a sleeve!” he says in the clip, showing Lucy’s forearm, which is covered in temporary tattoos.  “She is so rock ‘n roll!” The awesome tattoos include a fire, a frog with a cowboy hat, a UFO, and more.

“Oh my gosh, we’re dealing with this quite young,” he jokes in the clip. “I didn’t expect this from you, Lucy.” 

She responds by pointing to the camera and saying “Dada” before leaning in to give her dad a sweet kiss.

Her eldest son is currently going to college at New York University and wasn’t at the game with his mom and siblings.
