In her previous job, Tara had to go to court daily, which meant she was more restricted in her shoe and fashion choices.

“I have a few fun and special pairs, but the majority of my collection are timeless pairs that will never go out of style.

“I would say 95% of my collection is heels because I rarely wear flats. Heels make your legs look great and give a more sophisticated and polished look.

“For me they are the most important part of any outfit and are the best accessory. Usually I choose my shoes first and then build my outfit around them.

Tara said: “To help me stay on top of what’s being posted I’ve built amazing relationships with sales people. They send me pictures and let me know what’s coming out so I don’t miss a thing.

“I’ve been working with some of them for about 15 years so they’ve really gotten to know my style. So they send them to me and ask if I want them to maintain my size so that I can secure the pairs that I really want.

“When I lived in my old house, storage became a real problem as my collection grew. So when I was looking for a new home, having room for all my shoes was a priority.
